Privacy notice

This starter project stores the information needed to operate a local portal account: name, email address, a one-way password hash, verification state, login audit metadata, and support messages.

Passwords

Readable passwords are not stored. PHP's password hashing functions are used for portal passwords.

Login audit data

The project records portal login email, success/failure state, IP address, user agent and timestamp for security monitoring. It does not log the submitted password.

External websites

When you leave this portal for an external website, that external website is responsible for its own privacy and authentication practices.
